This week the old screened-in porch became the new family room. Framing, beams and roof sheathing were set up. The wall dividing the old family room from the old porch came out, and the roof from the old family room was removed. Temperature is very hot and very humid, with scattered thunderstorms for the end of this week and beginning of next. The roses love it, but probably not the builders. On schedule, we will be spending our first night in our New Canaan apartment on 6/2. Mail will still be received at 4 Glenwood Drive, and we will be using our cellphones (Home phone and voicemail will remain on for now). Kids start their piano lessons on their new digital piano on 6/6. Removal of kitchen asbestos has been postponed by the vendor from 6/8 to 6/15.
